Some closings mean just a little more.
After six months of searching, waiting, hoping, and staying the course, this wonderful family finally found the home that was meant for them.
There were moments when it would have been easy to get discouraged, but they never gave up. Seeing them receive the keys to their new home was a reminder that sometimes the best things are worth waiting for.

Real estate fun fact of the day 👻🏡

In New York, if a homeowner publicly claims their house is haunted… they actually have to disclose it to buyers. 😳

Yep. Ghost disclosure is apparently a thing.

Imagine touring a home and hearing:
“Beautiful kitchen, updated flooring, and possibly occupied by spirits from 1892.” 😂

Honestly though, every home has a story. Some just come with a little extra history.

Good news:
Most homes only come with creaky floors… not ghosts. 👻

Fun fact: Housewarming parties actually started centuries ago. 🏡🔥

Before central heating existed, friends and neighbors would literally bring firewood to help “warm” a new home.

It wasn’t just a gift… it was a way of saying:
“Welcome. We’re here for you.”

Homeownership has always been about more than walls and a roof. It’s about building a life, creating memories, and having a place where people gather together.

And yes… snacks at modern housewarming parties are definitely better than carrying logs. 😂

In October 1981, mortgage interest rates peaked around 18.45%.

That means on a $100,000 loan, the principal and interest payment was over $1,500/month… and homes still sold. People still bought homes. Families still built wealth through real estate.
