Reno-Sparks ended the month with 952 active listings and 433 new listings, giving buyers and sellers a useful picture of both available homes and fresh supply.

Those are practical numbers that help show what people were actually working with.

The Great Reno Balloon Race is happening September 10–13 at Rancho San Rafael Regional Park, bringing colorful hot air balloons to the Reno sky each morning.

It’s such a fun way to enjoy one of Northern Nevada’s signature community events. If you’re heading out this weekend, I hope you have a great time and catch a beautiful sunrise.

My heart is with everyone impacted by the Hawk Fire and with the families still dealing with the effects of this difficult week. ❤️

The latest official update reports the fire at 93% contained. That is encouraging progress, but containment does not mean the fire is completely out, and some road and trail closures remain.

I’m deeply grateful for the firefighters, first responders, emergency crews, volunteers, and neighbors who continue working to keep our community safe.

Please continue following official local guidance and check Perimeter Map for the most current evacuation and closure information.
