Hard to imagine now, but the Kent Valley was once dense wilderness, farmland, and scattered homesteads connected by muddy roads and the winding Green River. Fast forward a century, and it has transformed into one of the most important industrial corridors in the Pacific Northwest.

Today, millions of square feet of warehouse and distribution space power everything from aerospace and manufacturing to next-day delivery logistics. What was once frontier land is now a critical link in the global supply chain.

Fun fact: much of the valley floor had to be engineered and flood-controlled over decades to support the massive industrial growth we see today!

It’s fascinating to think how quickly landscapes evolve. The settlers who first arrived here probably never imagined their farmland would someday become a hub moving products around the world.
