🔺Federal Fund Rates have increased last month. This is the rate in which banks/financial institutions use when they are loaning each other excess cash if they are short in their reserve funds.
🔺Mortgage interest rates tend to change alongside the Fed fund rate. This impacts YOU, the borrower!
🔺With rates at 5%, what does it it mean for you? It means your monthly payment on your Mortage will be a bit higher compared to a few months ago however your home’s value will continue to grow! The rising prices will help build wealth and equity into your home.
🔺If you are waiting for some sort of “crash” or miracle to happen, you’ll be waiting a few lifetimes! Prices will continue to climb but just at a slower pace over the next few years.
