Meet three of the 850 residents who call Fellowship Square home.

This National Senior Citizens Day, we're celebrating their stories.

Ki Ok J., 79, is a devoted volunteer at Hunters Woods Fellowship House who found purpose in quiet service after her husband's passing. "I pray that for as long as I live, I can continue to share the gifts I have been given and serve my neighbors."

Ruby H., 84, has called Lake Ridge Fellowship House home for more than a decade. "Living here is enjoyable because I am surrounded by people around my age."

Kathy O., 68, joined Largo Landing Fellowship House this spring and has quickly become an active, engaged member of the community. "Living at LLFH has been a wonderful experience — I enjoy the programs, activities, and interacting with the other residents."

HUD funds the housing. Donor support funds the people — the programs, care, and community that make these houses feel like home.

WoW Women of Woodbridge supports Lake Ridge's National Night Out.

Fellowship Square has named John Kelly President of its Board of Directors.

John has served on our board for more than a decade and brings deep experience in real estate, corporate law, and nonprofit leadership. He is a longtime partner at Bean, Kinney & Korman, P.C.

drew more than 200 neighbors to Hunters Woods Fellowship House — 135 of them residents.

Thanks to our cohosts Reston Community Center and Hunters Woods Neighborhood Coalition.

The evening featured table tennis, a bubble artist, an ice cream truck, and a popcorn machine, plus resource tables from local vendors and community partners.

Representatives from the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department, Fairfax County Police Department, Cornerstones, Christ the Servant Lutheran Church, Fairfax County Neighborhood & Community Services, Reston Association and Hunter Mill District Supervisor Walter Alcorn joined residents to share safety information and community resources.

National Night Out brought neighbors together at Lake Ridge Fellowship House in Woodbridge.

Residents heard live music from JD The Entertainer, ate ice cream, and met with community partners such as St. Paul Baptist Church, AARP and Xfinity.
