Tarrant Countyโ€™s housing market continues to look steady and surprisingly resilient as we move deeper into the spring season.
Home prices held firm in April, with the median price landing at $352,175, up slightly from last year. At the same time, buyer activity remained healthy with 2,040 homes sold, a 5.4% increase year over year.
Inventory also continued to grow modestly, with 6,280 active listings on the market. That increase is giving buyers more breathing room without dramatically shifting the balance of the market.
โฑ Homes are averaging about 83 days from listing to closing, only 2 days longer than this time last year โ€” another sign the market is staying relatively stable.
๐Ÿ’ฐ The strongest segment of the market remains homes priced between $300Kโ€“$399K, accounting for nearly 32% of all sales.
๐Ÿ“ The takeaway:
Tarrant County remains one of the more balanced markets in North Texas right now โ€” stable pricing, steady sales activity, and manageable inventory levels continue creating opportunity for both buyers and sellers.
