In the city that I’ve called home for 25+ years, I had the opportunity to help the Retired 1st grade Teacher of my elementary school, Morgan Elementary, Mr. Lloyd Piquet of 93 years old transition from living independently to moving out of state with his family.
When I tell you that I’m here to help what I mean is let me help you make life easier.
What a privilege it was to help this man go from living alone to being cared for by the people who love him and want to help make life easier for him.
As stubborn as he was, not wanting to leave his home we al knew that he deserved better than how he was living.
Thank you to his daughter Kristy Martin for reaching out. It was an absolute pleasure to be able to help you with the transition.
