Every other year, our Activities Council sponsors 'Spring Into Action,' an event that showcases all of our standing committees. Each committee sets up a table to promote the work that they do within the building, it is a chance for current members to explore ways to get involved within the Cooperative, and perhaps try something new! We have committees that range from Finance, Building and Grounds, Marketing, Technology, Aesthetics, Movies, Catered Meals, Library, etc. along with volunteer opportunities such as working in our General Store, holding down the front desk, or driving members in our courtesy van. Our members' diverse skills and talents are the driving force behind our community's success, and we're grateful for their dedication and commitment! 🙏
So, what makes living in a Cooperative so special? Is it the sense of belonging, the opportunity to make a difference, or the joy of being part of a community that truly cares? 🤝 If you ask us, it's all that and so much more! 😉
