Sometimes, you don’t realize how much a house means until it’s time to let it go. ♥️
My sellers live in California, but this little home in Utah has been part of their family for multiple generations.
This wasn’t just a house they were selling. It was a place filled with family history, memories, and stories that have been passed down over the years.
So as we got closer to closing, I kept thinking about how strange it must feel to hand over the keys to a place that has meant so much to your family.
They may be leaving the house behind…but I didn’t want them to feel like they were leaving all of it behind.
They needed…
Something they can take back to California.
Something they can hang on their wall.
Something that will always remind them of this little piece of their family’s story.
Because this is the part of real estate that doesn’t always show up in the paperwork.
It’s the people.
The memories.
The emotions.
The stories behind the sale.
And getting to be a small part of a family’s story like this is something I don’t take for granted.
A home can change owners, but the memories made there belong to you forever.
Do you have a home from your childhood or your family’s past that you’ll always carry with you? 🥹👇🏼
