📈 Minnesota just led the entire country in one big housing number.

Active listing inventory is up 31% over the past year. The single largest jump of any state in the nation.

More homes on the market means real flexibility. On price, on timing, on seller contributions.

That’s negotiating power buyers haven’t had in a long time.

And the timing stacks on top of it. Fall and winter are already the most buyer-friendly stretch of the year. If you’ve been waiting for your moment, this is it. 🔑

I’d love to connect and see if it’s the right time for you to:
🔑buy your 1st home
🔑Move ⬆️or ⬇️ home
🔑Find your forever home
🔑Invest in a vacation or investment home or land

What are your thoughts on the pause in Lakeville bldg. permits?

If you go by total housing units added, at the top of the list is Lakeville, a city growing so fast it put a pause on accepting new building permits. It has added 4,861 units from 2020 to 2025.

It's followed in order by Woodbury (4,271 units), Maple Grove (3,599 units), Rosemount (3,186 units), Cottage Grove (2,279 units) and Blaine (2,677).

The outer edges of the Twin Cities are booming with new places to live.

So far this decade, the Twin Cities metro has, on average, added about 17,000 housing units per year, according to data from the Metropolitan Council. That includes homes, condos and apartments.
