🚨 Winter Weather Prep Reminder for Tenants ❄️🚨
With the upcoming snowstorm, we want to make sure everyone stays safe, warm, and prepared. Please take a few minutes to review the tips below and prepare ahead of time:
✅ Water & Plumbing
Have extra drinking water on hand.
During extremely cold temps, allow faucets (especially sinks on exterior walls) to drip at a slow drizzle to help prevent frozen pipes.
Open cabinet doors under sinks to allow warm air to circulate.
🔋 Power & Lighting
Fully charge cell phones, power banks, and rechargeable flashlights.
Have flashlights and extra batteries readily available (avoid candles if possible).
🔥 Heat & Warmth
Have extra blankets, warm clothing, and socks available.
If you have a safe backup heat source, make sure it’s ready and used according to manufacturer instructions.
Never use grills, propane heaters, or generators indoors.
🥶 If Power Is Lost
Keep refrigerator and freezer doors closed as much as possible.
Perishable food items can be placed in a sealed cooler and stored outside in the snow to stay cold.
Unplug sensitive electronics to prevent surge damage when power returns.
🚗 General Safety
Avoid unnecessary travel during the storm.
Keep vehicles fueled and stocked with emergency supplies if travel is required.
Check on elderly neighbors if it’s safe to do so.
If you experience any maintenance emergencies (such as burst pipes or loss of heat), please contact us right away.
Thank you for helping us protect the property and, most importantly, your safety. Stay warm and stay safe! ❄️🤍
