The Richmond Farmers Market remains committed to supporting all shoppers - especially during times of uncertainty!
-We’re closely following the ongoing SNAP/EBT benefits situation and working with our partners to explore options moving forward.
-Our SNAP/EBT Double Dollars Program allows you to double the amount taken off your SNAP/EBT card to spend on eligible products like fresh produce, meat, bread, eggs, honey, jams, and more at the Richmond Farmers Market, thanks to Reid Community Engagement.
-Any SNAP/EBT benefits already loaded on your card can still be used at this time.
-SNAP/EBT tokens from the Richmond Farmers Market never expire—you can save and use them anytime.
-We also offer a WIC Matching Program through Reid Community Engagement that doubles the amount of bread, eggs, and fresh produce provided to WIC customers.
-WIC vouchers do expire monthly, so be sure to use them before the end of each calendar month.
-Connect with our knowledgeable RFM staff and vendors to learn how to maximize your benefits, find the best ways to stretch your dollars, and get tips on what to buy this season. Our winter market hours are 9am-noon on Saturdays!
-Want to help more? We will have a donation box for any food items you’d like to contribute to local food banks. Items can be brought from home or purchased at the RFM and will be delivered along with our Farm to Pantry fresh produce to local pantries support the community.
