Project Update! House completed and sold the first weekend with multiple offers. We loved the way the project turned out, even though it took longer than expected and cost much more than anticipated. We feel like we have given a really good product to the future buyer. Huge shout out to our interior designer Wendy Fleetwood, contractor Otto Rosales, Airpro Mechanical, Express Electric and Tucker Plumbing and the many other subtrades that brought this project to fruition. In search of the next project!!!

It’s amazing what tile will do for a house. Check out that backsplash, it turned out better than we thought! Can’t wait to see the whole house finished

Project update! And just like that, the upstairs is primed. Remember in a previous post when I mentioned how Sheetrock made the space look smaller, but then paint opened it up? Look at the difference! Trim work, paint and a tiled bathroom to follow shortly...

💥Project Update. And we have Sheetrock! It’s amazing we went from studs to finished sheetrock within a week. Dealing with clients over the years, I have told them this is when the space seems to shrink and to just wait until the space is painted. It will seem to grow after painted on the walls. Can’t wait to see it trimmed out and painted

New architectural roof, vinyl windows and insulation in the second floor. Starting to seal up the house and getting ready for Sheetrock and trim. This is when it will starts to get fun. Lots of changes coming soon!

Roughin time. This is the time that can be most frustrating to buyers and clients as it appears like not much work is being done to the house, but this is the important stuff. This is what makes your house run smoothly. From here, it starts to get fun!

💥Demo Day! It has to get worse before it gets better. It’s amazing how much more light comes in with a few walls down. Can’t wait to see this choppy upstairs converted into an open master suite

And so it begins. As some of you may know, long before flipping houses was all the rage, Steph and I would renovate houses/multi family units. We did it because we loved using our knowledge and experience, an architect and a builder, to transform spaces. After many years, we are at it again with a cool cape cod in the Lakeside area. Below are the before pictures, with many more to come as we open it up and renovate this home!
