Happy Closing Day to this smart, sweet, beautiful couple who just bought their first home together and are getting married in the Spring! 🏡🤍I truly love getting to be a part of this magical milestone and helping folks start a new chapter of life.

Shoutout to my handy husband for creating a custom arch screen door for our front entrance! She’s perfect and I love her🤍

When I first bought the home 7 years ago, I noticed there was an original screen door on google maps image but it was nowhere to be found on the property. I absolutely love a screen porch and a screen door and was so sad the previous owner would have ditched such a beautiful original piece and compliment to the home. I searched far and wide for a vintage arch door but came up dry until my then boyfriend offered to make one. 5 years later (as she was pushed down on the priorities list) she’s finally up and I couldn’t be happier. Small victories in an ongoing endeavor to make this house our ideal cozy cottage home. Polenta and Ivy are such fans and enjoy their new post of neighborhood watch. Perfect timing for Fall and that brief but beautiful time of open doors and open windows.

A takeaway for my fellow homeowners: home projects can take time but be patient and celebrate the small victories as they come😊 homeownership can be so rewarding🏡

* home sales are up 1.4%
* new listings are up 10.1% (great news for buyers)
* median sales price for single family homes in Richmond is now $427k, up 12.9% from this period last year.
Home prices and values continue to rise in Richmond making it a great place to invest!
