There’s a lot more that happens between “Under Contract” and “Closed” than most people ever see! This home is being purchased with USDA financing, and a few property-condition items needed to be addressed before closing. Arrangements were made for a contractor to complete repairs to a beam and an area of the bathroom floor. And then there were these peeling storage-building doors. That’s where my son and I came in! A little scraping, prepping, and fresh paint helped get this item checked off the list. Being a Realtor® isn’t just about showing homes and writing contracts. A big part of my job is communicating, helping navigate issues as they arise, and keeping everyone focused on moving the transaction toward closing. Sometimes that may mean trading my laptop for a paintbrush. Every transaction is certainly different, but the goal is the same: helping my clients navigate the process from contract to closing.
