This townhouse represents broken system. A system people don't here about. The family that lived here were homeless for 5 years until before moving to my unit.

I partner with housing organizations that place the unhoused to help provide housing options. They promise all the time that they will help me, support me and will ensure the family is stable in my unit. THAT NEVER HAPPENS.

I'm often left providing all needs. This one was food, rides to work, clothes and some furniture. I even had the lease signed at the tenants job during lunch break so she wouldn't lose time.

The organization removed the family from services as soon as that lease was signed. At least that's how I felt. The unit was destroyed, rent never paid and I had to be the one to tell her they had to go. I waited months to not evict so they can have a chance. I chose to not renew. Even as I went to put the notice on the door. I saw even more property destruction.

I am need support. I can't do this work alone. This is a we problem
