Barbershop Manager Wanted: Be the Heartbeat of The historic William Byrd Hotel Barbershop (oldest barbershop in Richmond)
**Job Description:**
Guys Cuts LLC is actively seeking a hungry, talented and experienced manager with entrepreneurial spirit for the William Byrd Hotel Barbershop, a historic establishment since 1925.

**Responsibilities:**
- Serve as the driving force of the barbershop, overseeing all operations and providing leadership, staff assessments & coaching and possesses the personal and business talents necessary for success.
- Set the example by personally providing all services offered by The William Byrd Hotel Barbershop and guaranteeing top-tier quality for every guest no matter what.
- Hire, recruit, train, manage scheduling, handle conflicts and complaints professionally and in a timely manner.
- Act as a mentor to encourage and enhance the skills of shop employees, cultivating a positive work environment through empowerment, delegation and inspiration.
- Guide your team to grow their clientele and contribute to the growth of our business by always seeking a solution for any and every challenge.
- Maintain a high level of customer service, addressing any client complaints or concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with Guys Cuts Policy and Procedures, and all local and state barber licensing/certification regulations.
**Qualifications:**
- Must possess a current barber's / cosmetology license for the state of Virginia.
- Previous managerial or supervisory experience required.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on training and development.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Proficient in handling administrative tasks, including system closures.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. NO Sundays
- Tech-savvy and proficient in basic math and literacy.
- must be able to pass a background check
