Hey friends & fam, I have a special
(double) announcement 📣 I’d like to share with you all!!
RVA has a new Women’s Semi-Pro Soccer team called “UNKNWN Football Club” also known as “UK F.C.” brought to you by my good friend Lauryn Hutchinson & her incredible business, Unknwn Athlete. (For more, check out their instagram page .)
The WPSL semi-professional league provides an opportunity for women to train and play competitively, whether they are college players home for the summer or those vying to make it to the next level, be it college or professional.
Before this year, there has not been a Women’s semi-pro soccer team in the Richmond area in at least the last 15 years that I have lived here. (I am told there was at one point before then and now as of this summer there are actually 2!😍)
As a woman & as an athlete myself, witnessing the growing excitement and support around women’s sports today is inspiring just as well as it is important to me.
As a supporter of both local and small business, and as a former college soccer player— taking this opportunity to align my Real Estate brand with UK F.C. was a no brainer!
You may be aware I am a Realtor with one of Richmond’s top teams, The Strum Group, out of Long & Foster Grove’s office. 💚
THIS HAS NOT CHANGED— nevertheless building my own brand & awareness around my name in Real Estate is something I just needed to do! I finally had my own logo made and just in time to do a hard launch coinciding with the birth of UK F.C. 🤗
Without further ado, I am elated to announce both the establishment of Ashley Grant Real Estate and its partnership with UNKNWN Football Club! 🖤 ⚽️
The girls home opener is today, Saturday May 11, at 5:30 PM and it’s going to be a great time. I will be there — if you’re around, bring the kids, grab your momma’s, and come on out for an awesome match between two groups of strong, young women.💪🏼 (event link is in the comments!)
