Matthew Grubbs ([email protected]) with MDG Contracting just sent me a few 'after' photos of a wing addition that he built awhile back. Check out the spectacular job that he did, and get a preview of the process involved to create the plan he used to build by in the meantime.

To get the ball bouncing, Matt send me a 'before' photograph of the house as it stood, along with a sketch of what he had in mind. From there, I set his sketch to scale, then provided him with a 3-D overview of the footprint in the event he or his client wanted to tweak anything before proceeding with his permit drawing. Once approved, the plan was laid out to serve as a 'map' for the subcontractors and to be submitted for permit.

Combining our efforts, Matt's client is now enjoying his new digs.

It is official, 'Studio B' is now in business. If you are in need of a haircut & you live in the Chester area, go see Bethany. She'll take care of you with a smile on her face. After having worked with Bethany & Val, laying out their new digs, it was a pure joy to join them in their ribbon cutting ceremony today.

Even the Village News came to do a write up on their story. If you miss their write up, no worries ... you can see what Beth & Val have to offer you if you're in need of hair styling right here.

If, however, you need plans, then feel free to give me a call. Granted, I don't do a lot of commercial jobs since my main focus is based on residential construction, renovation, room additions, and the like, but this was a non-structural layout, which does not required an engineer or architect to draw up. I was blessed to have landed this job, simply because Bethany & Val were so easy to work with.

Brice is getting ready to sell his old house in Providence Pines so I worked up a plan of his house to use along with the photographs when listing his house. Typically, people like to check out floor plans, thus they draw the eye to the advertisement. If you are selling or renting a house & need a plan for illustrative purposes, let me know. Or, if you are building, either from scratch, adding on, renovating, or perhaps building a garage, I'll be happy to draw up some plans for you at a reasonable price.
