10 years ago today, I made my very first trip to Kentucky to meet BJ.

At the time, I had no idea that one trip would completely change the course of my life. Not long afterward, I packed up and moved to Kentucky, and together we've built a life that I couldn't have imagined back then.

Today, we have a farm, a wonderful family, amazing friends, and deep roots in a community that I proudly call home. Kentucky has given me so much—love, opportunity, purpose, and countless memories.

Looking back, I'm incredibly thankful that I took a chance on something that felt right. Sometimes the biggest blessings in life begin with a single step into the unknown.

Here's to 10 years of memories and to all the adventures still ahead. ❤️

Sometimes the real issue isn’t the market… it’s unrealistic seller expectations.

Real estate negotiations are emotional, especially when sellers are attached to a price, timeline, or idea of what their home “should” sell for. The strongest offers can still fall apart when mindset and expectations don’t match market reality.
