Buffering came in as a sick stray and had to make an emergency vet trip, but he's fully recovered and ready for a stable connection.🐾 He has some canine friends at the shelter, so he could be okay with another dog in his future home – preferably female.

Because he has some anxiety and handling sensitivities, he'll do best in a home with kids 10+ and a patient, understanding adopter. The best part? Once he feels safe, he's affectionate and a total belly rub enthusiast 🛋️✨

Give him a little time to load, and Buffering will reward you with loyal, heartfelt love!

Wilma Jean 🐾💛

Wilma Jean - the gentle queen of slow strolls 👑🐾. At 6 years old, this sweet lady is all about the calm life. She’s aloof with other dogs (not rude, just not interested in playing), and prefers to do her own thing.

Wilma Jean is a lower-energy, well-mannered companion who enjoys gentle walks and quiet time with her people. 💕 She would do best in a home with kids 10+.



She’s housetrained, polite, and full of love-just looking for a cozy spot (and a soft bed!) to spend her days. 🛏️🐶

Our Virtual Foster Dog of the Week this week is Joxer! Joxer is a 4-year-old, 50lbs, pittie mix.


Joxer is a handsome block-headed boy who is ready for his furever home! Joxer arrived in our care on August 1st in poor conditions. He was underweight and in need of lots of TLC. He is starting to gain his weight back and looking like a brand-new boy.



Joxer would prefer to be the only pup in the home, but no worries - because when it comes to love and affection, Joxer is your guy! He loves to give hugs and kisses. Another bonus is, Joxer is housebroken! Email [email protected] to schedule an appointment to meet sweet Joxer.

Meet Chai Latte, a 2-year-old Great Pyrenees beauty with a gentle soul and a heart that’s just starting to heal. This fluffy girl came to us from a neglect situation and is slowly learning that people can be kind. She initially tested well with other dogs but shelter stress has caused her to become reactive. With time in a home she could potentially have dog friends again but currently needs to be the only pet.



Chai can be timid and hand-shy at first, with a bit of stranger danger, but she’s also food-motivated and warms up with patience (and snacks). She’s not a fan of loud environments or fast movements, so she’ll need a calm, adult household (kids 10+), no apartments (she has a lot to say!), and a patient adopter who will give her the time and space she needs.



She’s working on some skin issues and will need a little TLC - but her potential to blossom into a loyal, loving companion is worth every bit of care. 💛

Meet Cadillac Jack, a 3-year-old pit bull with turbo-charged charm and a heart full of love! 💖 Found as a stray and a little too skinny, this bouncy boy is making up for lost time with all the wiggles, snuggles, and tail wags you can imagine.



Cadillac Jack is super people-oriented, clingy in the cutest way, and always ready to be by your side (or in your lap!). He’s got big feelings, gets easily excited, and has an enthusiastic zest for life that’s totally contagious. He’s still learning to trust other dogs and would prefer to steer clear for now, but with humans, he’s all in.



Bring home Cadillac Jack and get yourself a best friend who’s always in drive! 🚗💨🐶

Meet Hot N Heavy - a 4-year-old Pit Bull Terrier with a heart of gold and a gentle soul. ❤️



She came to us after being seized from poor living conditions, but you’d never know it by her sweet and affectionate nature. Hot N Heavy is polite, well-mannered, and absolutely adores belly rubs. She seems to be housetrained, walks beautifully on leash, and even passed her cat test!



While she’s a bit aloof with other dogs, she’s respectful and prefers to do her own thing. If you’re looking for a mellow, loving companion who’s ready for a fresh start, Hot N Heavy is your girl. 🐾
