Something about September makes me want to sharpen my pencils and hit reset.
So in that spirit, here's the September R.E.P.O.R.T.
R – Reading: Etna by Paul Yoon, narrated by a former military dog searching for the home he was taken from as a puppy. It's making me cry!
If you loved The Art of Racing in the Rain, this one will wreck you in the best way.
E – Eating: on Meadow Street. Their Italian sandwiches are the best, and they send a driver up to Brooklyn once a week just for the bread. Worth every bite.
P – Preparing: I'm officially becoming an empty nester this month, and it's exciting and a little daunting all at once.
More evening walks with the dogs, more time with friends, and doubling down on my career.
My husband wants me to take up golf. We'll see about that one.
O – On My Radar: A lot of Baby Boomers are getting ready to downsize, and it's some of my favorite work.
I stay protective of my clients from start to finish, right down to hauling donations to the thrift store myself.
This really is a family business, and they all show up for me.
R – Recommending: , a speakeasy-style cocktail bar near Gaskins Road. A friend took me recently and it was the perfect spot for an inventive cocktail and good conversation with girlfriends.
T – Thankful: For every client who has trusted me to help make their real estate dreams real.
I'm especially grateful for the ones who are kind, grounded, and appreciative of the work we do together.
This business can be deeply personal, and I don't take that for granted.
Now I want yours. Best thing you read, ate, or discovered this month? 👇
