Some closings mean a little more because of everything that happened between the first one and the latest one.

Back in October of 2020, I had the opportunity to help Josh and Emily Peyton sell their home in Nicholasville and purchase their next home in Richmond.

At the time, it was Josh, Emily, and Zach.

Fast forward almost six years, and their family has grown to six with Zach, Natalie, Olivia, and Levi. Four great kids, all with completely different personalities, and it’s been pretty awesome getting to know each of them and watching their family grow over the years.

This move definitely wasn’t one where we looked at a handful of houses and called it a day either.

Since June, we’ve toured somewhere between 30 and 40 homes all across Central Kentucky looking for the right one.

Different areas. Different homes. Different possibilities. A whole lot of driving and a whole lot of showings.

But we kept looking until we found the one that made sense for their family.

And now we officially made it to the closing table on both sides. 👏

🏡 Sold their home in Richmond

🔑 Purchased their new home back in Jessamine County

🤝 Represented them on both the sale and the purchase

This is one of my favorite parts about being in real estate long enough to build real relationships with the people I work with.

You meet people during one chapter of their lives, help them make a major move, and sometimes you’re fortunate enough to still be there years later when it’s time for the next one.

I’ve watched the Peytons go from a family of three to a family of six. I helped them leave Jessamine County for Richmond in 2020, and now, almost six years later, I got to help bring them back.

Josh and Emily have been great clients from the very beginning, and after dozens of houses, countless miles across Central Kentucky, how ever many back roads of fast and furious style driving 🚗🚙 selling one home and finding the next, I couldn’t be happier to see this one come together for them.

It’s hard to believe that I first started working with this family back in 2019.

Today marks our seventh transaction together over the past seven years. In a business where you have countless choices, the fact that they’ve continued to trust me time and time again is something I’ll never take for granted. It truly means more to me than I can put into words. 🙏

One of the coolest parts has been watching their family grow along the way. When we first met, Dallon was only four years old. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of seeing Dawson and Dax come into the world. It’s been amazing to watch this family grow through each new chapter, and I’m incredibly thankful I’ve been trusted to be a small part of that journey.
