Terri Abernethy Realtor I absolutely love my career! Terri Abernethy, a native of Charlotte, NC, grew up in a family of realtors and hardworking folks who restored many homes.

My greatest pleasure is working with my clients, building lifelong relationships, providing outstanding customer service, successfully navigating clients through the intricate and complex experience of buying or selling. She went to work in the restaurant business as a young teenager and learned the invaluable lesson of providing great customer service. She also trained and showed German Shepherds

, traveling all over the country with the focus and discipline training requires. She continued honing her skills in the service industry while working her way through college, UNC Charlotte, where she majored in Criminal Justice and Anthropology. Later moving to Asheville NC, and ready to open her own business, she poured her energy and passion into rehabbing an historic building with a partner and opened an amazing jazz and blues venue. The club was instrumental in hosting many fundraisers for animal causes, battered women and human rights. She and her partner relocated to Richmond several years ago where they enjoy an urban lifestyle in Rockets Landing, with their two beloved dogs, Casper and Sterling. Outside of real estate, Terri is known as a Rib Master, cooking ribs at local BBQ Festivals. Her enthusiasm for the outdoors and travel has led her to explore the United States, The Caribbean and parts of Europe. Whether you are local or relocating, Terri’s expertise in construction offers invaluable guidance.
