She was told no more than once.
After speaking with other agents and lenders, she walked away believing homeownership wasnโt an option for her.
Then our paths crossed.
Our first conversations werenโt really about houses. They were about her story, her goals, what had happened in the past, and what needed to happen next.
So we created a plan.
I connected her with the right resources, and she did the work. She improved her credit, stayed consistent, asked questions, and followed the guidance of the team around her.
As we worked through the plan together, I continued learning more about her situation, which allowed me to identify resources and opportunities that could put her in an even stronger position.
Then one day she told me:
โKevin, Iโm done with this apartment.โ ๐
I knew exactly what she meant.
We talked about the market, where buyers had leverage, and how we could use that leverage to her advantage.
She was ready. And I already knew exactly what she was looking for.
Because by then, I didnโt just know her price range or how many bedrooms she wanted I understood her vision.
And I found it. ๐ก๐
Now !, sheโs officially a HOMEOWNER. ๐ก๐
โ๏ธ Improved her credit
โ๏ธ Found a home she loves
โ๏ธ Negotiated large sellers concessions
โ๏ธ Received $10,157 back at closing
Thatโs what can happen when thereโs a plan, the right resources, communication and someone in your corner who understands the bigger picture.
Sometimes โnoโ doesnโt mean never.
Sometimes it means not yet we need a plan.
