🏡 From historic city homes to newer suburban properties, there is no shortage of interesting homes to see around Richmond this weekend.

My newest listing at 3314 Grove Avenue in the Museum District was Built in 1923. This home blends classic Richmond character with thoughtful updates, featuring 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and more than 2,100 square feet right in one of the city’s most sought-after neighborhoods. It’s currently listed at $999,950.

What I enjoy about the current market is the variety. This week alone I’ve been through everything from historic city homes and Museum District properties to larger suburban homes with more land, newer construction, and options across a wide range of price points.

If you’d like to see what’s available this week, give me a call or text anytime!

🎨 One of the things I love most about Richmond is that world-class experiences are never far away.

The new “India’s Great Mughals: Art, Power, and Opulence” exhibition at features more than 200 remarkable works, including jeweled objects, textiles, and manuscripts that showcase the richness and influence of the Mughal Empire.

It’s another great example of the arts, culture, and history that make Richmond such a special place to call home.

Have you seen it yet?

Selling a home in Richmond is not quite as simple as putting a sign in the yard and hoping for the best. 🪧

The homes that stand out right now are usually the ones that are well prepared before they ever hit the market.

A few things that matter: pricing, presentation, and even small updates and repairs can make a real difference in how quickly a home sells and what kind of offers come in.

I always tell sellers that preparation gives you options. Whether you are selling a condo in the city, a newer home in the suburbs, or something historic, buyers are paying attention to the details.

If you have been thinking about selling and want to talk through timing, pricing, or what buyers are looking for right now in Richmond, feel free to give me a call anytime!

Richmond really comes alive in the summer, and rooftop season is one of the best parts of it. ☀️

Whether you want skyline views, dinner with friends, or just somewhere to sit outside for a couple hours, these are a few Richmond rooftops worth checking out this summer:

Each one has a completely different feel, which is part of what makes Richmond fun. Some are better for sunsets, some for dinner, and some for just grabbing a drink and staying longer than you planned with friends or family!

Save this for your next summer weekend in RVA and send it to someone who is always asking where to go.

One of the most important historic sites in Richmond is right in Church Hill.

📍St. John’s Church

2401 East Broad Street, Richmond, VA 23223

This is where Patrick Henry delivered his famous speech that helped convince Virginia to send troops to the Revolutionary War. It is one of those places that gives you a real sense of how much history happened right here in Richmond.

The church is generally open Thursday through Monday, with guided tours available, and during the summer they hold Sunday afternoon reenactments of the 1775 debate among the Founding Fathers.🇺🇸

You can also walk the historic graveyard, explore Church Hill, and spend some time in one of Richmond’s most historic neighborhoods while you’re there.

If you have never visited St. John’s Church, it is well worth adding to your Richmond list this summer.
