XIX Wedding Marcos Point of view : How It All Started

Every story has a beginning, and ours started with a quinceañera, a lie, and a little bit of fate.

11/10/03 I was 15, standing on a stage, humiliated in front of everyone because my crush who had no idea was suddenly the center of a DJ announcement: “Johanna loves Marcos.”
The lights hit me, my heart dropped, and I ran away crying. I swore I’d never talk to him again.

A few days later my best friend Addy and her brother Sama played matchmaker, telling him I wanted to ask him out and telling me he wanted to ask me.
We both showed up, confused, nervous, and somehow right where we were meant to be.

And that’s how it started.
From that awkward Monday after the party to this wedding and the life we’ve built, our story has always been a mix of chaos, faith, and timing.

Now 11/11 stands for more than just a wedding date.
It’s proof that even when the beginning is messy, wed will find a way to make it work 💍✨

11/11 the day we pulled off the wedding that wasn’t even supposed to happen after the wedding planner kept our 11k.
11/10 was the date it was meant to be, but life had other plans.

It became a true testament to who we are, a real test of character, love, and partnership.
What was meant to break us only built us stronger.

That same resilience, loyalty, and problem solving that got us through this moment is exactly what we bring to every table, whether it’s our marriage, our family, or our clients.

Now here we are in Tijuana, facing another challenge head on, and I know we’ll break through this one too. Even if we don’t right away, we’ll get through it together.

Love isn’t just our story, it’s our strategy. 💍✨ I share with your all our proposal, bits of our wedding, and honeymoon. Later on this week I’ll address Ana Flores and catch you all up where that story stands

Thank you to all who have contributed to helping my family get to this moment 🙏. Seeing family, friends, and strangers rally together for a cause is a much needed light when things get dark.

We have one more big moment to get past, arguably the hardest ... the final goodbye. Her babies chose to have a pink funeral for their mom, and so it shall be.

My favorite CEO 😍

I had a meeting with Farmers this morning, and I'm so happy to report that Marcos has been successfully running the office on his own. With no insurance or office experience he has stepped in while I stepped out.

I was advised in order for my business to grow I had to step away and delegate. It has been such a hard transition with many bumps in the roads but he has along with his sister .biz.life came in and pulled together some amazing things....and more to come!

If you call the office this is the man in charge and behind the phone. He is a licensed bilingual insurance agent. He is readily and available to help put together an auto or home policy for you.

He specializes in life and is officially working commercial.

If you talk to him let him know his boss thinks he is really handsome 🤣 😊
