There’s something powerful about REALTORS® showing up — and on Tuesday, February 24, they did just that.

The Richmond Association of Realtors joined forces with four other local associations to host a Day on the Hill, with several Women's Council of Richmond leaders and members proudly in attendance.

The day began at the Library of Virginia with a legislative briefing from Virginia REALTORS®, followed by meetings at the Virginia General Assembly Building with legislators representing the participating REALTOR® associations. Advocacy in action!

Participants were recognized in both the House and Senate galleries — a proud and memorable moment — and the day concluded back at the Library with insights from David L. Bulova, Virginia’s Secretary of Natural Resources, who shared updates on legislation impacting our industry.

Engagement matters. Leadership matters. Advocacy matters.

Yesterday, we kicked off our year with a Chili Challenge & Strategic Partner Spotlight Event at the Richmond Association of Realtors. Not only did attendees get to sample some fantastic chili recipes prepared by 7 of our Strategic Partners, they also got to network, make new connections, hear about the services offered by all our Strategic Partners, and learn about the benefits and opportunities available through Women's Council Richmond.

Congratulations to 2026 Women’s Council Virginia President, Tondra Devarel and the entire 2026 Virginia leadership team! Members of the Women’s Council Richmond’s leadership team were present at the installation event on Dec. 16 to show our support and offer well wishes.
