Hi friends!

I'm looking for recommendations for a women's shelter or nonprofit that supports women in need, domestic violence survivors, or similar causes.

Over the next week or so, I'll be doing my annual retail refresh and closeout sale at the spa. Any discontinued retail products that don't find a new home will be donated, and I'd love for them to go to an organization that can put them directly into the hands of women who could use a little extra care and support.

Tonight, one of my sweet clients brought me this sticker and said:

🦄 “I saw this and thought of you because no one can solve as many problems as you.”

Y’all… my heart absolutely melted.

For those of you who are new here, let me introduce myself. I’m Brandi, owner of Old Mechanicsville Health Spa. I’m a Licensed Massage Therapist, Licensed Master Aesthetician, Registered Yoga Teacher, Realtor, business owner, mom of three, and professional wearer of way too many hats. 😂

But the truth is, what I do isn’t really about “solving problems.”

It’s about listening.

It’s about helping someone finally get relief from the headache they’ve had for three days.

It’s about helping a client feel confident in their skin again.

It’s about creating a space where people can slow down, exhale, and feel cared for.

Sometimes it’s a massage. Sometimes it’s skincare. Sometimes it’s helping someone buy a house. Sometimes it’s just being the person who says, “I’ve got you.”

The greatest compliment isn’t being told I have all the answers. It’s being trusted enough that people bring their questions, concerns, goals, and challenges to me in the first place.

So thank you to every client who trusts me with your wellness, your self-care, your stories, and your time. I never take that trust for granted. ❤️
