June is here, and Ridgecrest has a few good local events worth putting on your calendar.
Whether you are looking for food trucks, local shopping, a museum day, or something simple to do around town, here are a few Ridgecrest options for the month.
# # Ridgecrest Events This Month
**Food Truck Friday**
Friday, June 12, 2026
5 to 8 p.m.
Downtown Ridgecrest
A good evening option if you want food, community, and a simple way to get out for a few hours.
**Second Saturday: Free Museum Admission**
Saturday, June 13, 2026
10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Maturango Museum
This is a strong local stop, especially if you enjoy desert history, local art, Native American history, and the story of the Indian Wells Valley.
**Open Mic Night**
Friday, June 20, 2026
7 to 10 p.m.
230 W. Ridgecrest Blvd.
A good local night out if you want music, local talent, and something different from the usual routine.
# # Local Markets
**The Market of Ridgecrest**
Flex Fridays, year-round
5 to 9 p.m.
The Patriot Event Center
This is a good one to keep on your regular list if you like local vendors, food, and community events.
**KTS Farmers Market**
Saturdays, year-round
9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Tractor Supply
A simple Saturday stop for local goods and fresh finds.
# # Local Places Worth Visiting This Summer
If you are staying close to home this June, Ridgecrest still gives you plenty to explore.
A few local favorites worth keeping on your list:
* Maturango Museum
* China Lake Museum
* China Lake Petroglyphs
* Red Rock Canyon State Park
That is one of the things I appreciate about living here. Ridgecrest is not trying to be like every other town. It has its own pace, its own history, and its own desert character.
If you are thinking about buying, selling, or simply want a clear read on the Ridgecrest market, I am always glad to help.
