A HUGE thank you to the Ridgecrest Area Association of REALTORS® for once again supporting Boujee Bags & Bingo! 💕 Year after year, our local REALTORS® support this event and our community in a BIG way.
I get asked pretty often, “What does the Association of REALTORS® actually do?”
A whole lot more than sell houses.
RAAR advocates for homeownership, housing and private property rights. We work with our city, state and other agencies on issues that could impact housing in our community, including things like water, insurance, development and legislation.
And this partnership with the Women’s Center High Desert just makes sense.
One of the many ways the Women’s Center helps survivors get back on their feet is through HOUSING. They work with local REALTORS® to help survivors find rentals and can assist with deposits and rent, helping provide the stability and fresh start someone needs to rebuild their life.
That’s what Boujee Bags is really about. Yes, we have bingo, designer bags and one heck of a fun night, but the money raised helps fund programs that make a REAL difference for people right here in our community.
Being a REALTOR® is about a whole lot more than selling houses. It’s about protecting homeownership, advocating for housing and investing in the community we call home.
And I’m pretty proud of what our Association does. ❤️
