Branson locals

The City of Branson recently passed Ordinance 2026-0041, which updates the Branson Municipal Code regarding “No-Impact Home-Based Businesses.”

If you operated a home-based business in Branson between August 28, 2022 and today, you may be eligible for reimbursement of previously paid business license fees if your business qualifies as a “No-Impact Home-Based Business.”

A No-Impact Home-Based Business is generally one that operates from a home without creating a noticeable impact on the surrounding neighborhood.

To qualify, the business must:
• Stay within the home’s occupancy limit for employees and clients on-site
• Be limited to the sale of lawful goods and services
• Not cause a substantial increase in neighborhood traffic
• Take place inside the home or in the yard
• Not be visible from any public street

We know every business is a little different, and our goal is to help residents understand whether this opportunity may apply to them.
