Odoms Home Mold Remediation has reached a new milestone. We are currently serving over 2,000 realtors. With that comes 5-6 inspections each day and crew doing two treatments everyday for the past 3 months. March was the biggest month we have had in 7 years of business. Trevor Burns is the reason for the success and longevity of this small business. Ed Swartz our newest addition to the team has proven to be someone of great potential. I will only hire employees who are better than me or at least have the potential. Ed showed he belongs when he and I went head to head in a 6500sf crawlspace that was covered in mold. After days and many hours of HEPA vacuuming and wire brushing I had to tap out. Ed and Trevor killed that project and all that have followed it like a well oiled machine. I appreciate your comment to me and the business plus understanding what makes a family business successful and what makes a family business fail. Launching a second vehicle in the next month or two.

Taking the time to tuck a young person under your wing will reward both of you. The future of Odoms Home Mold Remediation is bright. Trevor has taken it upon himself to learn new skills that have benefited our business more than I could have imagined. Hire those with potential and make it your job to help them reach it. We are having our biggest month since the business has started 6 years ago.

Attics are one of the most common areas for mold growth! Since homeowner’s don’t really go up there, it is allowed to grow! 🦠
