This charming lakefront cottage on Lake Harwinton was perfect for our getaway weekend. Lots of room for the 2 of us and our dog. The cottage was super-clean and comfy, with lovely views of the lake; the interior decor was delightful. The house was stocked with everything you could think of. It was an easy drive to local grocery and dining. The Lake Harwinton area was quiet with lakefront cottages and it was a comfortable 1-2 mile walk on the road around the lake. Rainy weather prevented us from making use of the kayaks, deck and grill, but we still had a great time. We would love to return!

My cousin and I stayed at this charming cottage on the lake for a girl's weekend visiting three wineries on the CT Wine Trail. It was the perfect location to get to them all easily. The house itself was wonderful, very homey. Loved the warm furniture, comfy beds, well stocked kitchen and bathroom, and of course the lake views/access was the absolute BEST part. Gorgeous views from the house and only steps to the lakefront from the deck. We will definitely be back!

Another happy guest!

My husband and I and our 2 dogs stayed at this newly-renovated house for a month recently. It was everything we wanted and needed while in the area on family business. Owners, Paul and Ella were very pleasant and helpful and greeted us upon our arrival with freshly picked flowers and welcoming smiles. They were accessible if we needed them, as they live just a few miles away.
The house is beautiful inside and outside. The rooms are spacious and nicely furnished with clean and comfortable beds, chairs, couches and soft throws, giving it a very relaxing and cozy vibe. The kitchen is well equipped and functional, with new high-end appliances and all the necessities which make it a workable kitchen and a pleasure to cook and hang out in.
The brand new bathroom has heated floors, a roomy shower and plenty of good quality towels and other amenities; you don’t need to bring anything! There is a washer and dryer and all the soaps you need to do laundry.
The outdoor space has plenty of seating on a patio around an attractive fireplace which is nice for gathering with friends and family.
This gem is located right in downtown Ridgefield and we walked everywhere; there are many restaurants and shops, a movie theater, a library, an art museum, a park,gyms, hair and nail salons, and much more, all within walking distance of the house.
Our dogs were happy here and enjoyed multiple daily walks around this dog-friendly town, stopping for treats and water the shopkeepers made available.
This is truly a lovely home to spend time in and I would return if the opportunity came up.
