Christmas past...Christmas present....This beautiful piece is a collection of handmade snowflakes that was framed in a Christmas tree form complete with a gold "star" on top. My clients' mother/mother-in-law must have made hundreds of these through the years. She used them as ornaments. I bet they made a beautiful tree! Now, this keepsake hangs in a hall where it's visible from several places in their home....bringing the joy of holidays past in the form of special memories throughout the season.

I don't have pictures, but we also made small shadow boxes of a single snowflake for their 2 adult children to have their own keepsake. They are small enough to sit on a shelf, counter, or hang on the wall!

This real estate saga has a twist! Yes, it has one of the most beautifully and thoroughly remodeled interiors that I’ve ever seen . . . plus the work was done by the father of a dear client friend who referred his dad to me. But the most remarkable part of this story is that I had actually shown this property to the son almost 2 years ago but did not recognize it at all! Know why? Because going in through a carport entrance, I discovered the darkest, most depressing & creepiest house I’ve ever shown. It was so bad that I told the son I wasn’t going any further than the dining area, because it was TOO scary! (Totally professional, huh?!) He didn’t buy it but eventually the dad did. And when I say he remodeled it, I mean it was practically brand new with gorgeous upscale finishes! The lucky family who bought it truly got a wonderful Christmas gift and will have lots of room for their holiday gatherings!

Loretta Martello faced many challenges years ago when she moved from the MS Delta to the Jackson, MS Tri-County area in 1998. One of those challenges was being able to buy a home as a single mom of two daughters. When she tells people people her story of purchasing that home, she always follows it up with “And that’s why I know if someone really WANTS to buy a house, they WILL!” (To this day, people don’t believe the interest rate she paid!) Her understanding of the individual needs of buyers and sellers is a large part of her success. She wound up having to “fix” so many things to be able to qualify for a home loan that she realized she could help just about ANYBODY buy a house! Her determination is to be an understanding and knowledgeable Realtor® who makes her clients' real estate experiences as stress-free as possible!
