A love for Real Estate can be a dangerous thing. After my family's 7th or 8th move, my husband finally said to me, "If you love doing this so much, do you think you can do this for someone else and allow us to stay in a house long enough to put up drapes?" And I did. For the last 12 years I have loved every minute of guiding my clients through the complicated process of buying or selling a home.

I have however moved my family several more times in the interim. My children still tease me, "Mom doesn't Spring clean, she just moves.”. I have worked with many home buyers and I’ve seen that they know quite quickly when they have found their dream home. The difficulty lies in the negotiations; dealing with the appraisers, mortgage brokers, inspectors, town officials and the hundreds of other details that must be carefully maneuvered to facilitate a successful transaction. This is my job, I love doing it and I do it well. A home is not a home because of its room dimensions or the color of the walls. It is about how you feel when you walk through the front door. And the way you can instantly envision your life unfolding there. Buying a home is about your life and your dreams, however, it is also about making a major investment.
