πΊπΈI will never forget.
Most of us remember exactly where we were and what we were doing at the moment life changed forever on September 11, 2001.
For me, I was driving over the Tappan Zee Bridge on a crystal-clear, gorgeous morning, admiring the view and talking to my dad on the phone, as I did most days during my commute.
I can still remember his voice telling me, βThey think a small plane just hit the World Trade Center.β
I remember thinking, How could that ever happen?
Little did we know what was unfolding and how profoundly that day would change our lives and our country forever.
Today, my heart is with all of the lives lost, the families who lost someone they loved, the heroes who ran toward danger to save others, and everyone whose life was forever changed that day.
We remember. We honor. We will never forget. πΊπΈ
