There was a season last year where I felt like something was missing. I couldn’t quite put my finger on it… but I knew I was searching for something more. I started searching for a new church home. When I walked into Localchurchsav for the first time, I can only describe it as a little “God wink.” I just knew—this is where I’m meant to be.

Not long after, I found myself in a season of simply saying, “Yes!” Yes to whatever God was asking of me. And for me, that looked like stepping into serving.

1 Peter 4:10-11 teaches us to use our gifts and to serve others… and those words really took root in my heart.

This year, I’ve had the absolute joy of leading a women’s Crew (small group) in my home every Wednesday.

We gather at my home every week to talk about Jesus, walk through sermon notes, catch up on life (and yes… there are always snacks involved 🤣).

We just wrapped up our first Crew season of the year with dinner on Tybee, a prayer walk on the beach, and the most beautiful sunset.

If you’ve been feeling that same nudge… that sense that something might be missing… I just want to gently encourage you, maybe it’s time to find a church home.

After a long (and very cold) winter, spring has officially arrived… and you know what that means, it’s planting season! 🌱

If you’re thinking about refreshing your landscaping, I can’t recommend Herb Creek Landscape Supply enough. With locations in both Thunderbolt and Sandfly, they quickly became my go-to while I recently redid all of my landscaping.

I spent hours walking their nurseries, hand-selecting every tree, shrub, and flower. The teams at both locations were incredibly helpful every step of the way. Not only did they help me choose the right plants, but they also took the time to educate me on how to care for each one (which, let’s be honest… I needed 😅).

After more trips than I can count loading up my car with plants, I can officially say… been there, done that… got the t-shirt. 🤌
