Two things I say to most clients. First, where is the water going? Ensure water is flowing safely away from the foundation and second, take care of the crawlspace. The water issue can damage the structure/foundation and a wet, humid crawlspace can lead to problems that cost thousands to repair.

Today a panicked realtor called. There were frozen/busted pipes in a house that was recently inspected. They wanted to know where the cut off was located. I did not recognize the address, but I went quickly to my reports to try and help. In our reports cut offs are listed at the front of the report. The realtor knew we answer calls on weekends and evenings, but unfortunately we had not performed this inspection so we were unable to help. Our photos below depict how we show the locations of cut offs.
