All jokes aside, there's so much false information going around! So, here's some important facts I think you should know:
•Realtor Compensation has always been negotiable
•Realtors are not responsible for home values increasing at such a fast rate
•Realtors are not in control of the interest rates
•APPRAISERS determine the value of your home
•Realtor Compensation does not affect the value of your home
•Buyer Brokers are not going away
•Sellers can still offer buyer broker compensation
The majority of home buyers can't afford to pay their realtor compensation on top of their closing costs and down payment, which could possibly result in a lot of buyers not being represented in one of the most important transactions of their lives! Of course, realtors will likely be affected by the upcoming changes, but home buyers are the ones getting hit the hardest! My clients and friends know how much I've done to help my clients close the deal, and there's so many realtors out there that have done the same! It's important now, more than ever, that we realtors continue to educate our buyer and seller clients about the process, any changes, and the market trends.
