Spending time in our creative corner was such a relaxing and enjoyable experience. It gave everyone a chance to unwind, express their imagination, and enjoy being creative at the same time. We did some painting activities, and everyone enjoyed them so much! It was wonderful to see so much happiness, creativity, and confidence come out through the artwork. We had such a wonderful visit to the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science! The museum was fascinating, beautifully organized, and full of incredible exhibits that kept us engaged the entire time. We especially enjoyed learning about dinosaurs, space, and the natural history of New Mexico. The experience was both fun and educational, and we truly appreciated the friendly atmosphere and well-presented displays. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

Afterward, we went to Church Street Cafe, where we enjoyed a very delicious meal. The food was authentic, fresh, and full of flavor, and the cozy atmosphere made the experience even better. The service was excellent, and it was the perfect way to end such a memorable day in Albuquerque. Highly recommended!

We had such a wonderful Cinco de Mayo celebration! The amazing Trio Latino filled the room with beautiful music, and our residents truly enjoyed every moment — singing, smiling, and dancing together. Our servers also joined the celebration wearing colorful Mexican hats, and they looked fantastic! Everyone had so much fun, and it was a joyful day full of laughter, music, and great memories for all.

We were truly honored to welcome our local firefighters to Rio Grande Retirement Living for a very special celebration in honor of Firefighters Day. Our residents lovingly painted beautiful gift bags by hand and filled them with thoughtful goodies as a small token of appreciation for the courage, dedication, and service these heroes provide to our community every day.

The visit was filled with warmth, laughter, and meaningful conversations. The firefighters joined our residents for lunch, sitting together, sharing stories, and spending quality time that brought so much joy to everyone involved. It was heartwarming to see the connections made across generations and the smiles shared throughout the afternoon.

We are deeply grateful to the firefighters for taking the time to visit and for all they do to keep our community safe. This memorable day reminded us all of the importance of kindness, gratitude, and community spirit. Thank you for making the day so special for our residents!

Our residents had a wonderful time today attending Tarde Oro! Everyone truly enjoyed the music, the atmosphere, and the joy of spending time together. We turned up the energy with our “Hora Loca,” and what an incredible time it was! From the moment it started, the fun was nonstop—our clown brought so much laughter, and all the colorful pencil balloons, pitos, oversized sunglasses, and maracas made the celebration even more vibrant and exciting. Last Friday’s Spring Fling Dance was truly unforgettable! The decorations were absolutely stunning—every detail came together so beautifully and created the perfect atmosphere for a night full of joy and celebration. The photos really capture the magic of the evening, from the vibrant décor to all the laughter and fun we shared. Yesterday’s Salsa Chair Exercises were an absolute joy! We had such a great time moving to the rhythm and feeling the energy of the music. Even from our chairs, we were able to get our whole bodies involved—stretching, swaying, and dancing along to those lively salsa beats. The music truly made the experience special, inspiring everyone to move, smile, and enjoy every moment. It was the perfect mix of fun, exercise, and great vibes! We’re already looking forward to the next session!
