I truly love this state and this job. Every house tells a story, a memory, a past.
Not all showings are the same. Just like every other state we have really nice houses and not so nice houses. Where I come from we don’t really have “mansions” like seen on tv… and I’m gonna be honest. Some of my favorite houses/ properties to list are the more difficult ones or the ones that need a little love. Like I said, I just put on my boots and go!

No 🐍 were harmed on the making of this video… in fact I actually saved it from being ran over 😂😂 I truly would say that this is a regular occurrence for me, maybe it’s just the perks of living on a farm. 🤷🏼‍♂️

3 Ticks were found on me when I made it back to my truck.

None of them attached, so don’t worry! 😂 Honestly though, this summer I find ticks crawling up my legs all the time… guess I just got that good 🩸! 😂

Lesson was not learned, the next day I did a showing where I knew I should put pants on and definitely did not.

What can I say… I’m a shorts kinda guy🤷🏼‍♂️

Despite today’s crazy rain☔️, I had a showing earlier. So, I put my muck boots and rain coat on and headed out!

You’re probably thinking “ohh Micah you should have canceled and rescheduled”

Sorry… not gonna happen! And I’m glad that the client didn’t cancel on me either.

Part of buying a property, you want to know everything possible about it.
Well, the type of rain we have had today is the perfect time to find out more about the property.

Especially in this case where the property is in a holler and they plan on building on the property. We were able to see if the yard floods, holds water, or if it drains off to the creek.

Thankfully, when we went we had a break in the storm so we stayed dry. As long as it’s safe to do so, don’t let a little rain stop you from looking at a property. Going after a big rain is a great time to see what the water does to the property or the house!
