A broken neck couldn't stop the mission. 🏔️✨ (Watch until the end to see the newest volunteer!)
You know they say community isn’t just about where you live—it’s about how you show up for each other. This summer, showing up looked a little different for me.Despite recovering from a major accident,I knew I couldn't sit on the sidelines for our local kids camp. While I couldn't do the heavy lifting physically, I stepped into the administrative room behind the scenes. The final numbers of kids and volunteers completely blew us away:👉 537 incredible kids filled with joy and purpose. And —- 👉 Over 250 selfless volunteers giving their time and hearts.
A massive, heartfelt shoutout to the whole reason this happened - Shelter Cove Community Church here in Modesto. .. Shelter Cove is doing absolutely wonderful things in our community, providing a safe, energetic space for our youth to grow, in so many ways !
I am profoundly grateful to every single volunteer and staff member who accommodated my recovery and made this week seamless. Helping out at camp with physical limitations reminded me exactly why I love my day job in real estate. Whether managing a massive youth camp, and that always comes down to systems, logistics, and a dedicated team.
I am so grateful for this community it is where we build our lives, find our support, our neighbors, and show up for each other —no matter the obstacles.
Thank you, Shelter Cove, for letting me play a small part in a massive victory for our local families! 🏡❤️
