The Warehouse Wildlife Update

Earlier today, our grounds crew was visited by a rather rotund property inspector.

He carefully surveyed the deck, checked the perimeter, and disappeared without leaving any notes…

We’ll assume that means everything passed. 🦫

Wildlife Fact: Today’s visitor was an Eastern Groundhog (Marmota monax). These curious burrowers are common throughout the Appalachian region and are one of the many wild neighbors we get to share the property with.

Welcome to Bashlin House — comfortable student housing for Southeast Lineman Training Center students during their time at school.

Located on a quiet 1.5-acre property in Rising Fawn, GA, Bashlin House accommodates up to 6 students with 4 private bedrooms, 1 double room, and 3 full bathrooms.

The home features thoughtfully maintained shared spaces including a fully stocked kitchen, dining area, washer and dryer, TVs in every bedroom, and comfortable common areas designed for downtime after class.

Outside, students can enjoy the large deck with an outdoor pool table, propane grill, and co****le boards, along with a separate fire pit area just off the deck for relaxing evenings and weekends.

Bashlin House offers nearby access to local hiking trails, scenic mountain views, waterfalls, and nature preserves. Students are just minutes from Cloudland Canyon State Park, while Chattanooga’s restaurants, shopping, and attractions like the Tennessee Aquarium are only a short drive away. Nearby mountain destinations such as Ruby Falls and Rock City also make for easy weekend adventures.

Welcome to The Warehouse — comfortable student housing for Southeast Lineman Training Center students during their time at school.

Located atop Lookout Mountain in Rising Fawn, GA, The Warehouse accommodates up to 6 students with 3 double bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. Two bathrooms feature stand-up showers, while the third includes a relaxing whirlpool bath tub.

The home features thoughtfully maintained shared spaces including a fully stocked kitchen, dining area, full-size washer and dryer, desks and workspaces for studying, as well as TVs in every bedroom.

Upstairs, students can enjoy a dedicated game room with a pool table, TV, and mini fridge, while outside features a deck with a propane grill, co****le boards, and a separate fire pit area for relaxing after class.

Conveniently located near Cloudland Canyon State Park, hiking trails, nature preserves, waterfalls, and scenic overlooks, The Warehouse gives students easy access to some of the best outdoor recreation on Lookout Mountain. Just a short drive away, Chattanooga offers restaurants, shopping, and attractions like the Tennessee Aquarium, while nearby mountain destinations include Ruby Falls and Rock City — with plenty of options for exploring on weekends.

The Warehouse has become a popular option for veterans and older students looking for a quieter, more relaxed environment during their time at SLTC.

Wildlife Inspection Team On Site

Earlier today, our grounds crew was visited by a highly energetic team of deer conducting what appeared to be an unscheduled property inspection.

After a brief frolicking session and thorough review of the grounds, they concluded everything was in order and continued on their way. 🦌

🐾 The Warehouse Security Update 🐾

Meet our resident parking lot manager, welcome committee, and morale officer.

Please be advised that all vehicles are monitored by our highly trained security specialist.

She spends most of her day greeting students, supervising arrivals, and conducting thorough inspections of parked vehicles.

Somehow, she always seems to know when a new group of students is on the way and is often waiting to welcome them before they even arrive.

Her methods remain proprietary, but her inspection record is excellent. 🐾
