I am a California Real Estate Broker, and I have been licensed for nearly 35 years.
This October, when I turn 70 years young, I will officially become a grandmother in the real estate industry and I wear that title with honor.
Three years ago, I added another layer to my expertise and became a licensed Mortgage Broker. During the pandemic, when President Obama encouraged Americans to regroup, sharpen their skills, and learn something new, I took that message seriously. I went back to college and earned my Bachelor’s degrees in Real Estate and Finance.
Growth never stops. Learning never stops.
Over the decades, I have seen this industry shift in many ways markets rising, markets crashing, interest rates high and low, policies changing, programs appearing and disappearing. I’ve seen the good, the challenging, and everything in between.
But one thing has never changed:
The joy of placing keys into the hands of a family who once believed homeownership was impossible.
I have proudly represented buyers who thought there was “no way” they could ever own a home. At one point in my career, I was known as the HUD Repo Queen. One summer alone, I sold over 25 homes to single mothers through a $500 down payment program.
That wasn’t just business that was legacy building.
I love teaching people what it truly takes to become a homeowner. I take time to walk my clients through every single step of the process from credit, to pre-approval, to escrow, to closing. Knowledge creates confidence. Confidence creates homeowners.
