One of the more interesting things I came across during a recent inspection: a copy of The Philadelphia Inquirer dated October 29, 1895. 📰

Still tucked away in the house more than 130 years later. Pretty cool piece of local history to stumble across on the job!

4,000 miles, 7 states, and 2 national parks, including the unforgettable floor at the “Tiltin’ Hilton," AKA Kettle Falls Hotel (which is definitely an inspector’s nightmare! 😂🏚️)

We packed a lot into this road trip, but some of the best parts were the simplest: fishing, hiking, kayaking, stargazing, relaxing, and spending time together without the usual distractions. 🎣🥾🛶✨

Grateful for the chance to unplug, explore incredible places, and make great family memories!

One of the coolest parts of this job is the unexpected stories you come across!

During a recent inspection, I was shown a copy of MONEY from August 2005 featuring this very home on the cover. At the time, it was part of a story about being named one of America's Best Places to Live.

More than two decades later, I had the opportunity to inspect the same house.

It's not every day you get to compare a magazine cover photo to the real thing years later. The house still looks fantastic, and it was a fun reminder that every home has a story to tell.
