☕ Two front porches, two cozy cabins…what would you do with them?

That’s the question I keep coming back to at 94 B Cliff Drive. Maybe you’d keep loved ones nearby, give visiting friends their own space, or explore an investment with two rentals. 🏡

In our latest blog, we take a closer look at these authentic log cabins on 0.76 acres, including their extensive updates, refreshed kitchens, new appliances, and historical rental income of $925 per month per cabin.

Did you feel it this morning?

The first cold morning is when “we don’t really need a garage” starts sounding like a lie.

You find yourself late. ⏰ Your fingers hurt. And you’re doing it…. Scraping the windshield with the card you found in the console because the scraper has disappeared. 🤷‍♀️

Again……

Maybe your garage is full. Maybe you don’t have one. Those are two different problems… but another house 🏠 isn’t always the answer.

BUT if a garage is has officially moved from “would be nice” to “I’m done with this.” Message me GARAGE. Let’s see what your options actually look like 👍

Just a little Monday thought. ❤️

Most of us know Philippians 4:13.

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

We’ve seen it on coffee cups, T-shirts, and probably reminded ourselves of it when we needed a little extra strength.

But I recently came across something that made me look at this verse a little differently.

In the verses right before it, Paul talks about learning to be content in whatever circumstances he finds himself in. Whether he has plenty or very little. Whether life is going great or things are downright hard.

And the part that really stuck with me?

He said he had LEARNED to be content.

Apparently, it didn’t come naturally to him either. 😊

I think sometimes we get so focused on the “I can do all things” part that we forget strength isn’t always about accomplishing something big.

Sometimes it’s having patience when things aren’t going our way. Sometimes it’s finding peace in a difficult season. And sometimes it’s simply appreciating what we have instead of focusing on what we don’t.

I know I’m guilty of getting so busy chasing the next goal or tackling the next problem that I forget to appreciate what’s right in front of me.

Being content doesn’t mean we stop dreaming or working toward better things. It means learning to find joy along the way, instead of waiting until everything falls into place.

Maybe Philippians 4:13 isn’t just about having the strength to accomplish great things.

Maybe it’s also about having the strength to be content right where we are, even while we’re working toward where we want to be.

Just something worth thinking about today. ❤️

🏡 JUST LISTED—and I’m curious: what would YOU do with two log cabins?

At 94 B Cliff Drive, I can picture family staying close while having their own space, visiting friends enjoying a cabin to themselves, or a buyer exploring rental ownership. ✨

Both cabins sit on a 0.76-acre lot, each offering just under 400 square feet. Updated kitchens, all-new appliances, new washers and dryers, and refreshed front porches make everyday cabin living easy to imagine.

💰 Each has historically rented for $925/month!

Thinking you might move next year, but have no idea where to start? That’s something I can help with. 😊🏡

Before you spend your winter weekends painting rooms or tackling that project you’ve been putting off, let’s chat. I’m happy to stop by, walk through your home with you, and help you figure out what’s worth doing (and what you can happily cross off the list).

You don’t need a moving date or a definite decision. Sometimes it just helps to have someone say, “Here’s what I’d focus on.”

🍂 While there’s a little breathing room before the holiday rush, send me a message. We can talk through your options and see what makes sense for you!

🔧 Selling your home and worried about what the inspection might uncover?

One of the biggest misconceptions I hear from sellers is that they’ll be required to fix every single item an inspector finds. That’s usually not how it works.

In this month’s Ask O, I explain what inspection reports really mean, which issues tend to matter most, and why repair requests are often part of the negotiation process rather than an automatic to-do list: https://www.windriverrealty.com/ask-o-do-i-have-to-fix-everything-the-home-inspector-finds/

If you’re thinking about selling and the inspection process has you a little nervous, this one is worth a read.

🏡 One of the questions I hear all the time from buyers is, “How much should I offer on a house?”

And the answer isn’t always as simple as offering below asking price or matching the list price. The right offer depends on the market, the home, the competition, your financing, and how much the property is worth to you.

In this month’s Ask O, I break down what buyers should consider before deciding on an offer and why the strongest offer isn’t always just about the highest number: https://www.windriverrealty.com/ask-o-how-much-should-i-offer-on-a-house

If you’re thinking about buying, give it a read, and as always, reach out if you have questions. I’m happy to help!

This is one of those properties where the more you look at it, the more ideas you start having. 🏡

220 N 5th St W has a comfortable ranch-style home, a bright layout, new flooring, and a spacious primary suite, but what really makes it fun is all the “what could I do with this?” space.

The breezeway has so much personality and could be used in a bunch of creative ways. Then there’s the nearly 2,000-square-foot shop, which opens the door for hobbies, storage, projects, vehicles, or whatever you’ve been wishing you had room for.

I wrote a blog taking a closer look at the possibilities here: https://www.windriverrealty.com/unique-property-with-two-homes-a-shop-on-a-large-corner-lot-at-220-n-5th-st-w/. Give it a read, then message me if you want to come see it in person! 💬
