‼️ UPDATE - Thursday 11-2-2023 @ 3 pm. Jaylani is stil missing and has not returned home. We believe that she might be mobile on foot or bicycle, possibly in the Riverview area near. If anyone believes they see her, please take a picture or video and call 911 immediately to report the possible sighting so law-enforcement can take action and return her home. . Thank you to the community for your continued support.

UPDATE - Wedneday 11-1-2023 @ 7 am - Search and recovery investigators from We Are The Essentials are enroute to the scene to assist the family in searching for Jay.

While we were spared from Hurricane Idalia for the most part, the storm surge in our area has definitely left a lasting impression. As we head into Labor Day weekend, a popular holiday for water activities, we would like to remind residents here to be safe. Debris from docks, trees, and boats could be floating or lodged beneath the surface of the water, and water could be contaminated with bacteria from sewage and storm runoff. Have a nice weekend and Happy Labor Day!

Idalia update: We are unfortunately closed. Brian went to the office this morning and email service was down despite power and internet being on. We are expecting flood waters to prevent traveling to the office at high tide. We will be back in the office tomorrow ready to hit the pedal to the metal.

We are in the office today wrapping up what we can before the weather gets bad. Tomorrow, there is a strong likelihood that we will be closed due to power outages and traffic hazards like downed powerlines and trees. As of now, plan for a pause in business tomorrow at least through the morning. We will post another update once the storm passes.

We are sending prayers to our friends in Cedar Key, and hope everyone stays safe!

What a way to start a Monday! We are keeping an eye on Tropical Storm Idalia. As long as the insurance companies remain committed to binding buyers and borrowers, our closings will take place as planned. We are resuming normal business operations until further notice, but will post any updates on closures here as we track the storm.
