The Riviera Beach Community Redevelopment Agency is at the heart of the dramatic transformations underway within its district. Formed in 1984 by the Riviera Beach City Council, the CRA provides funding for a wide scope of projects that incentivize economic growth through business attraction and retention; finances new and improved infrastructure for real estate projects; and generally works to expand the tax base by creating a welcoming environment that eliminates blight and improves the perception of safety in an area. The Agency’s main mission is to guide the city’s redevelopment efforts. This includes making investments of public funds in key infrastructure improvement projects that have the capacity to act as a catalyst for additional private funding and development, create jobs and help to improve the quality of life for city residents. In addition to capital investments, the CRA has also created and supported many programs that enhance daily life in Riviera Beach. These include renovations to Beach Park and revitalization of the city’s marina to give families public access to the waterfront and its amenities; funding to not-for-profit organizations to build new homes, improve neighborhoods and provide services to area residents; the Clean and Safe Program, which provides resources to enhance the visual appeal and security of our communities; and our Business Services and Grant Incentives programs, which eliminates blight, attract and retain businesses in the area to help maintain the economic stability of the city.

NEW DATE | TURNING THE MOBILITY PLAN INTO ACTION

We’re back! The previously postponed RBCRA Mobility Plan Implementation Session has been rescheduled for Thursday, October 1, 2026, as we kick off Fiscal Year 2027 with a renewed focus on moving the adopted Mobility Plan from vision to implementation.

As we begin the new fiscal year, join the Riviera Beach CRA to learn about FY2027 implementation priorities, discuss the next steps for advancing the Mobility Plan, and help guide future transportation investments throughout the CRA District.

📢 CONSTRUCTION NOTICE: CRA BROADWAY UTILITY BURIAL

The Riviera Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is moving forward with the Broadway Utility Burial Project, an important infrastructure improvement designed to enhance the resilience of our community.

📍Project Area: Broadway Corridor from E. 11th Street to E. 27th Street
📅Electrical Connections: September–October 2026

🔨What residents and property owners can expect:
• Underground utility installation and electrical connections
• Temporary asphalt and concrete patches during construction
• Restoration of landscaping, sidewalks, sod, and other affected areas
• Individual property connections are expected to take approximately one week
• Properties may experience approximately two hours without power during the electrical connection process

Property owners will be contacted in advance with information about the anticipated construction day.
