693 POUNDS of donations. $1,253 raised for Friends of RCACP. AND an adoption?!

Sweet Lily met her forever family AT Barktober Fest & has since been adopted. I MEAN. 😭❀️

Three years of this event and I still can’t get over how much this community shows up. From the vendors who give their time to everyone who comes out, donates, and supports this little idea of mine. I’m just so dang grateful.

The basement hasn’t been finished. The yard hasn’t been filled with kids + dogs. Nobody’s claimed their spot on the couch or figured out which chair on the deck has the best lake view.
It’s just waiting for someone to make it theirs.

Sometimes your marketing strategy is apparently just… driving around Roanoke. πŸ˜‚πŸš™

Last year, this buyer saw my name on my car while we were sitting in traffic, waved + honked at me, and then somehow found me on LinkedIn afterward.

Fast forward to this year and we’re house hunting together… and then we walk into this house.

Except I’d actually been here before. πŸ˜‚

I showed this exact house to different buyers 2 years ago. They ultimately decided on something completely different, so walking back through the door definitely gave me a little dΓ©jΓ  vu.

Apparently this house just needed to wait for the right people. πŸ₯Ή

And now we’re CLOSED. πŸ‘πŸ”‘

At our final walkthrough, we were laughing about how this whole thing started β€” one random honk + wave in Roanoke traffic, a LinkedIn connection, and somehow here we are.

I talk a lot about social media, referrals, signs, marketing, all the normal ways people find their Realtor… but apparently I can officially add β€œhonked at me in traffic” to the lead source dropdown now. πŸ˜‚
